LOST
The whole button-pushing thing in LOST is weird. What is the button for? Is it really just an experiment? I don't really understand why Jack pushed the button. He's not a believer! [1:33, 370 KB, MP3]

Erick think LOST is a great show. In a way, he likes the flashback and backtrack that they do in the show. I, on the other hand, think the TV network is just dragging their feet capturing the audience's attention as long as possible. I think they are overdoing it. It almost feels like a soap opera now. We also compared it to Battlestar Galactica and Desperate Housewife. Part 1 of 2 episodes. [4:54, 1152 KB, MP3]

In this second of two parts episode we continue to talk about lost and what the sequence of numbers is all about. We wonder if the entire LOST series have already been written or if they are writing it as the show goes on. [4:27, 1049 KB, MP3]

My wife had a theory, which may be and probably is way off, that everyone in the plane did actually die in the crash. The island is some kind of purgatory where all the inhabitants have to either make peace with their past or give some kind of penance to move on into the after life. The children were taken first by "the others" because they have innocence, and the guy from "the others" said the adults that were taken are "good". As for the button pushing thing...I don't have any solid ideas.

i am in england but im up to date with america on the program. if u noticed the numbers are 4,8,15,16,23,42 which also are part of the flight numbers. 8:15 gate 23 to america. also these are the same numbers that hurley won the lottery with an kate also had a connection 2 these as the man who arrested her did it for $23,000. i also have a theory that the people on teh island all did sumthing bad back home and thats why there on the island. Also when the french women said she heard voices saying they were cuming 4 the boy walt was captured that night. in the bunker you see a sign when lock goes down this is on a shark later on in the series. does anyone else think that when micheal interacts with the computer it is not walt but the tribal people on the computer making a trap 4 micheal to fall into??? i cant wait till the next few episodes of series two. BIGGEST FAN OF LOST EVER ITS AMAZIN.

I'm calling the ending of season two right here. The cliffhanger for season 2 will be the "mystery" counter ticking down to zero. Right when it ticks down to zero, the show will display the LOST title screen and that will be it for the season. There is no way they will drag that subplot on for another season in my opinion.

Transcript of the first talk episode: … It was pretty wired… Sasha: - I got the sunny spot? John: - Yea we’ve saved it just for you Eric: - No I thought it was pretty good John: - I thought the whole button-pushing thing was wired Chieh: - Yeah Erick: - They are becoming slaves to it, they would never know what happened… John: - I think it’s an experiment, they just wanna see… Erick: - That’s what Jack was saying… John: - Yeah, but… Chieh: - But he would have pushed the button, he’s so stupid, I was so pissed… John: - That he pushed it? Chieh: - yeah… because it’s just like elongates the show Erick: - He gave into everybody… Chieh: - Why wouldn’t he – there is like four people standing around him, why wouldn’t he go push the button Sasha: - They suck John: - I think it is some kind of faith statement, like you supposed to live out in faith and just believe that you have to push this button. Chieh: - Yeah, but Jack is not a believer! John: - No, but John does, so he’s trying to get Jack to have faith, somehow… Sasha: (in the background) – How’s Alan doing? Chieh: - Because other people standing around, they could push the button John: - so he is the one that has a problem with Faith. Chieh: - Ok it too late [Unable to hear the end of the sentence] Chieh: - I could see why I am a Computer Scientist, rather than like a historian or something, or a… or a romantic person Erick: - Ok [making fun of Chieh] I am not romantic John: - No he means it in a literary sense. Erick: - I know… Computer Simulated Female Voice: - Presented to you by www.realitytalkshow.com

Transcipt of second talk show. Erick: - There is a few shows I like to watch… they all are like the nerdy shows Chieh: - Like what? Erick: - I like to watch “Smallville”, “Lost” now, that’s a great show, what else…”Supernatural” – I watched it, I am giving it a try see if I like it or not. So far it seems to be the same thing every episode. Chieh: - Yeah, seems to be repetitive. [unable to hear] just last one, I forgot… I saw Lost Erick: - Lost is just like… man… they ended it at the same place Chieh: - Yeah, I know it sucks… I was just like… Erick: - It was kinda nice that they backtracked it…a little bit to show what was going on you know… Chieh: Yeah, but I like that technique in movies, but in TV Shows I hate it, because really what they are doing is … Erick: - Stretching it out Chieh: - Yeah stretching it out Erick: - I guess there was a lot more happening in that frame, that timeframe, they couldn’t really show it all jumping from scene to scene, you know what I mean? Chieh: - They just needed to amm… stretch out the time Erick: - They left it at the same cliffhanger Chieh: - They do all these kinda things in the movies all the time, and they do it just fine Erick: - I think it was fine, I think I could wait another week Chieh: - I am already tired of waiting just to get passed that point Erick: - I think the only reason I am not tired of waiting because… am… because I barely started watching when they were giving re-runs of last season. So when they gave that part, it was actually two weeks ago, when I first saw it first time and the next week was a new one anyways so I didn’t till summer – you know what I mean? Chieh: - Yeah. I am also debating whether give up on this show or not. Because I don’t what that much TV, and when I watch TV I want some gratification and this thing just takes to long may be I wait for a DVD or something Erick: - [Laughs] And then… Oh yeah the season one is out, I guess you’re already saw it Chieh: - Well there is not point watching season one because the season one is a drive out to the point to where they get to the hatch Erick: - Oh, man you gotta be patient [laughs] Chieh: - I mean seriously why bother watching season one Erick: - There is another show called “Battle Star Galactica” and I am watching season one, I already know what happened at the end of season two Chieh: - See but that’s a different show, that’s kinda like an adventure show, they are not like… Erick: - No it’s drama Chieh: - Yeah, I know, but they are not like… am dangling a carrot in front my mouth, or… or you nose Erick: - At the end of the season yeah they did! Chieh: - Did they really? Erick: - Yeah, they were… they were going to battle against each other Chieh: - Yeah but Lost is like the whole time, every single scene they like… Erick: - I’ll be right back… Every episode, they were… something was going on every episode Chieh: - Yeah, But coincidentally the point is you don’t really need to watch the previous episode to continue watching now… Erick: - Yeah you do! Chieh: - I started watching season two Erick: - What – Battle Star? Chieh: - No, no I am talking about Lost, I don’t need to watch season one, I am still you know, I still understand what going on Erick: - You will like you caught right up Chieh: - Yeah, so it’s like what’s the point, which means the first season they just either building the character up or just wasting time, they are just stretching time, right? Erick: - Of course they are! They want it to last like seven or eight years. ABC has been dead lately, now they are starting to pick up again. Like with the “Desperate Housewives” and all that. … that’s what got them back on the map again. They were fading quick, they were… because nobody’s watching their channel Chieh: - See Desperate Housewives I kinda like, I don’t watch Desperate Housewives, but even though they dangle carrot in front of your face – you have to watch the entire season to really understand what’s going on, because amm … I… I don’t know why actually, but if I jump in the middle of Housewives I don’t know what going on Erick: - …It’s like soap opera Chieh: - Yeah, it’s interesting, the episode I did watch… Computer generated female voice: - To be continued on … www.realitytalkshow.com

LOST is on right now. I believe this episode is the one where the groups is going to allow the counter to count down to zero! I put my money on them doing at the last second of the show so that you'll have to wait till the next episode to find out what actually happens after that. What do you guys think?

Whatching LOST now, how come they don't seem to hate the guy Who stole all the guns. Well at least we know how the full-body guy stays "fit".

LOST is so slow! I can't stand the way it keep moving forward and backward, present and flashback, and just tons of questions. I don't know how the fans stand it! [1:27, 344 KB, MP3]

The people in LOST just aren't engineers. Being an engineer, I just can't figure out why they'd act the way they do. It's totally illogical.

Title: Serenity Weblog: Reality Talk Show Excerpt: I went to watch the Serenity movie this weekend. Serenity is a science friction based on the Firefly TV show several years back. In this talk show we discussed Serenity, Firefly, and LOST . . . You might wonder how we started talking about the slow-moving LOST TV show, something totally unrelated to . . .
